If you want to grow up to be an entrepreneur, it seems you should send your application to Babson College. U.S. News & World Report has ranked Babson No. 1 in entrepreneurship for an unprecedented 20th time. MIT, Indiana University at Bloomington, UC Berkeley, and University of Pennsylvania round out the top five colleges for entrepreneurship.
While Babson ranks 31st overall for its business program, the University of Pennsylvania grabs the top spot for business programs. It should also be noted that The Princeton Reviewnamed Babson the top school for entrepreneurship for the 6thyear in a row.
Babson can also celebrate plenty of other accolades. It’s once again the top private business school for salary potential of graduates, according to the 2017–2018 PayScale College Salary Report. Money magazine named Babson the No. 2 college in the United States on its Best Colleges list, second only to Stanford and ahead of MIT. Also, its redesigned, award-winning Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course—which requires all first-year undergraduate students to start and run a business and donate the profits to charity—members of the Class of 2018 raised more than $18,000 for local social-service agencies. And Babson’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) is celebrating 15 years of excellence and is welcoming participants for the 3rd Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab, a first-of-its kind, year-long program designed to empower women students and alumnae to build their entrepreneurial ventures.
